Founder Story

The business I've wanted to build since I was 10 years old.

I'm John Carter Murphy. I started CarterWare because I've spent the past decade obsessing over computer systems, software, and how the right tool — actually built for the way you work — changes everything.

Even at 22, I bring over a decade of hands-on experience with software, computer systems, AI, media tooling, and hardware-connected products. CarterWare exists to put that experience to work for clients who don't fit a template, and for original products I want to ship into the world.

The goal has always been simple: build technology that actually matters.
